Veronika Peovska
BHSC ACUPUNCTURE
I began my journey into healthcare in 2015, and since then I have completed a degree in Chinese medicine and additional studies in naturopathic medicine. Through my studies and clinical experience of Eastern and Western natural health, I have gained a deep understanding of anatomy, dietetics, herbal medicine, supplementation, pathology, and diagnostic testing.
I believe that health is the natural state of the body and that treatment interventions should support the body’s natural healing processes. The treatments I provide are evidence-based and focused on restoring the optimal function of the mind and body. I strive to achieve a balance between classical and modern, Eastern and Western paradigms.
AREAS OF INTEREST
I have a keen interest in treating all different types of disorders. I often work with clients seeking assistance with:
Pain Management
Musculoskeletal Conditions
Sleep Disturbances
Women’s Health
Male & Female Fertility
Pregnancy & Labour Support
IVF Support
Stress Management
Cosmetic Acupuncture

During a consultation I complete a comprehensive assessment of your current and past health concerns to gain an understanding of how to best support your needs. I then formulate a personalised treatment plan that directly addresses your health concerns and goals. My treatment services include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tuina (acupressure massage), moxibustion, cupping and gua sha. I often incorporate lifestyle and dietary advice to help ensure the therapeutic results last.
No matter where you are on your health journey, I am happy to work with you and provide you with the support to get to where you want to be. Rather than forcing ideologies of health onto my patients, I prefer a collaborative approach where treatments directly support the lifestyle they wish to live.
As a doctor of Chinese medicine, I am member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and I adhere to their regulatory standards. I am registered as a provider with all health funds, so you can claim treatment rebates with your private health insurer.
